Obituary

Harold W. Miller, of Port Barrington, IL and The Villages (Village of Charlotte), FL passed away on Thursday September 29, at the age of 80 surrounded by family.

Harold was born on May 1, 1942, to Bertha and Warren Miller in Chicago, Illinois. After high school he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, and then went on to work a career in computers at Knowles Electronics for 27 years until his retirement.

He married his first wife, Ruth C. Miller (Neubarth) on November 5, 1966 and they had 4 children together, Christine, Melissa, Matthew, and Lauren. Upon her passing, Harold found love again and married Barbara Miller (Kelieher) on October 15, 2010, and they have been inseparable since.

Harold was always fun, outgoing, and quick to make everyone laugh. He loved spending time with his family and friends, traveling with his wife Barb, and of course fishing and golfing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Warren Miller and his first wife, Ruth C. Miller. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara Kelleher Miller, his children, Christine (Michael) Knapp, Melissa (Ken) Klesch, Matthew W. Miller, and Lauren (Steve) Erickson. His stepchildren, Tracy (Jim) Ditsworth, Kathleen (Tim) Janis, and John Kelleher (Larry Ryan). His grandchildren, Laurissa (Lane), Michael, Mara, Brayden, Wesley, Makenzie, Kaitlyn, Easton, Hunter, James, Lilly, Raegan, Brooklyn, Oliver, Abby and Katie, 2 great grandchildren, Benjamin and Isabella, as well as his brother Warren (Linda) Miller and their children.

A cherished husband, father, brother, grandpa, uncle, cousin and friend, he is loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all.
