Kathleen Ann Larkin, 76, of The Villages, FL, passed into heaven on March 28^th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kathy was the daughter of Herbert Nelson Larkin and Alice Lilian O’Neill Larkin of Sharon, CT.  She is survived by her sisters Linda Larkin of Clinton, CT, Laurie Harding of Center Sandwich, NH, and her brothers Phillip Larkin of Sharon, CT, and David Larkin of Cheltenham, England.  She was predeceased by her brother Michael Larkin and Elaine Angele Larkin, both of Sharon, CT.

Kathy had no greater joy than that of raising her three children, Melissa Colvin of Stone Mountain, GA, Jennifer Douglas of Windsor, CT and Matthew Sondrini of Granby, CT. Their father is Alfred Sondrini of Torrington, CT.

Kathy married Peter DeBisschop, then of Sharon, CT, on October 18, 2008, marked on the calendar as “The Sweetest Day.”  Joining their two families together, they lovingly counted six children and fourteen grandchildren.

After raising her children in Torrington, CT, Kathy worked as an administrative assistant for The Torrington Company and The Timken Company for twenty-five years.

Kathy was extremely proud of her Irish heritage. The high point of her travel experiences was a visit to Malin Head, Ireland. It is a village at the northernmost tip of Ireland, and it is the ancestral home of her maternal grandmother.
