Obituary
Roderick Wesley Story passed away on October 13, 2020. He spent his life working for equal education for all, and in service to the mission of his faith and service to his church. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Joyce Clarke Story, for 62 years. They met in high school in Claremont, New Hampshire, in 1953. He passed with his wife by his side and his loving family’s wishes from a social distance. He passed with a smile on his face, and we take solace in his faith and persistence through a lengthy disease. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Clarke Story, his daughters Virginia Harris, Debra Houle, Kathy Bristol, and Patti Story, their significant others, and grandchildren Sierra Harris, Holly Harris, Emily Harris, Chelsea Bristol, Adam Bristol, Lee Houle, Samantha Houle, and Jacy Pero, as well as his great-grandchildren, Arya Golden and Leo Marottolo. He touched the lives of so many more through his years of selfless dedication to serve all, but especially those with few other heroes. A service is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, please remember him with donations to the Wounded Warriors Project or Alzheimer’s research.
