Sandra Patricia Newberry PHD, Loving Mother, peacefully departed this Earthly life on October 19, 2023, at age 87, and leaves to cherish her memory. Dr. Newberry was born in Harlem, New York on September 12, 1936, to David Thomas Graham, and Elsie Green Phox. She graduated Seton Hall University with her BSN degree and was the Assistant Director of nursing at Overbook Psychiatric Hospital Cedar Grove NJ. She furthered her education earning her PHD degree from Neuroc CVC BBB V Vice. Sandra is survived by her daughters

Joy Lee Newberry Crews (Timothy), Julie Lynn Newberry-Pearson (Keith), Jarra Patricia Newberry; sons Robert Lloyd “Jippy” Newberry (Christina), Jay Lamont Newberry, Jere Lewis Newberry, Jerome Eric Newberry (Rickey Rutledge Jr.), Jamal Andre Newberry (Dineen), Jacques Pierre Newberry (Aisha), Joseph Anthony Newberry, Joshua Ian Newberry, Jordan Matthew Newberry; Grandchildren & Great-grandchildren, Jenna Rochelle Pearson, Kayla Marie Pearson, Erica M. Newberry, Danae Newberry, Korbin Newberry, Shawn Michael Crews (Wildaly), Anthony Lee Bell, Jaylen, Imani Joy Ferrari, Elijah Michael Ferrari, Daniel, Sebastian, Emilia and Chase; sisters Dianne Graham and Fay Graham. She is preceded in death by her parents David Graham and Elsie Greene; brother Tony Graham who passed in the line of duty serving in the Vietnam War.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home located at 11250 SW 93rd Court Road, Suite 300 in Ocala, FL 34481. Visitation is from 11:00AM-1:00PM with a service to follow from 1:00PM-2:00PM.

She will be missed greatly by many. Thank you, Mom, we will always be grateful for how you taught us to work hard. Your motto was “Always strive for the Highest, achieve the best, success will then be yours.” Love, your family.
