Obituary

Alberta C. Metz, 95, of Orlando, formerly of Taylors, South Carolina passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. Born in Brockton Massachusetts, a Member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile, she enjoyed playing the piano, a crafter and an artist. She is survived by her daughters Patricia McGrath, and Jean Gliniewicz and son Stephen Gliniewicz, many grandchildren, several nieces nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jane Tucker, and a sister Alice Fongeallaz. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday May 10th, 2014 at Grant Street Baptist Church, 2950 E. Grant Street, Orlando, Fl 32806. In addition to the memorial service the family will be having services in the future.

I have always commented to my family and friends about what a loving and beautiful person you are, and how very blessed I am to have had you in my life...I even think my own mother was a little envious of our relationship. You always told me I was your daughter, not just a daughter-in-law.     Alberta was a wonderful woman. She became a second mother to me, always loving and caring. I loved her big smile and hugs. She touched so many people, I am remembering all the angels she made and gave away to so many. We will never know how many hearts she touched. She had great sorrows in her life but she kept her face towards God and continued her race. Now she is safe with our Heavenly Father. I am so sorry she has left us and I will remember her always. My love and sympathy to all the family. You are in my prayers. Love always, Toni
