ALICE HODGES OBITUARY
Alice “Marie” Hodges, 79, of Rockledge, FL, passed away on May 7, 2023. She was born on September 7, 1943 in High Point, NC to Frances and Stafford Ellis. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked most of her life in banking before her retirement.
Marie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and going on trips to the beach and mountains. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Marie was a member of Hayworth Wesleyan Church in High Point, NC.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stafford Ellis, mother Frances Hundley, step-father Frank Hundley Sr, step-mother Nellie Ellis, sister Brenda Cocolin, and sister Sherry Morrison.
Marie is survived by her husband, Randall Hodges, son Dwayne (Deb) Hodges, daughter Lori (Jeff) Ray, son Matthew (Karen) Hodges, brother Frank (Patricia) Hundley Jr, brother Steve Ellis, sister Gail (Tom) Leymeister, sister Midge Russell, and sister Julia Wolfgang. Marie is also survived by her ten grand children Nathaniel Ray, Rebecca Dietrich, Andrew Hodges, Caleb Ray, Lorin Hodges, Bethany Otto, Rachel Hodges, Joshua Hodges, Keefe O’Dell, Reece O’Dell, twelve plus great grand children and many numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held later this summer, time & date to be determined
