Obituary

Alice P Lazzeroni 92, of Lady Lake, passed away January 8, 2018 at the Cornerstone Hospice House in Clermont, Florida. She was preceded in death by her loving husband George, who passed away December 24, 2017. Together again forever!
Alice and George are survived by their son, Barry and wife Ruth, Houston TX,  granddaughters Lisa Blevins, Houston TX, Susan Lazzeroni, Dallas TX, Laura Hendrix and husband Tony, Owasso, OK and grandson Tony Lazzeroni, Washington, DC.  They are also survived by their five beautiful great granddaughters Kate, Mallory, and Sophie Hendrix and Jesse and Sara Blevins.
After living in many cities during George’s career with the U S Postal Service, they retired to  Water Oak, over 30 years ago. They were very much involved in the promotion of Water Oak as a retirement community and their photos were used in lifestyle advertisements.  They left Water Oak 13 years ago to move to Texas to be near family, but returned to Water Oak three years ago.    Alice loved to play bingo, bridge and golf, but her greatest love was cooking.  Her culinary skills  were amazing and George was always volunteering her services to feed their friends and his golf and softball teams. She always said she did boo know how to cook for only two people. Alice loved watching all of the current chefs on TV and was continually increasing her recipe files.   A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Interment for both Alice and George will be at the National Cemetery, in Bushnell, Florida. We would like to thank the nurses, doctors and caregivers at Cornerstone and the Hospice House in Clermont for their support.
