Aline Julia Miller was born Jan 17, 1925 in Cedartown, Georgia to Queenie Virginia Beatenbaugh Puckett and Walter Scott Puckett. Her parents were farmers and she had four siblings. Aline was the last living sibling of her immediate Puckett family. When Aline was a young adult, she met Harold Miller at a dance school while learning the waltz in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1950, they moved to Orlando and 4 years later gave birth to their only child, a baby girl named Susan. Aline was the bookkeeper for the family dental office shortly. Aline's hobbies included shopping, reading, gardening, cooking and attending church. Her favorite book to read was the King James Bible. She was a member at Palm Springs Drive Baptist Church. Last Sunday, she passed on to be with her loving husband at 89 years of age on November 30, 2014. Her survivors include Susan Evans, Alana Evans Armstrong, Diana Evans, nephews Rex Puckett of Silver Creek, GA with wife Glenda and Kenneth Puckett of Rome, GA and Donald Hosmer and Gary Puckett, and nieces Betty Barrows, Beth Hackney, Joy Puckett, and Sharon Frink. Her service is to be held this Friday, December 5th at 11am-12pm with a viewing at 10:30am at Palm Springs Drive Baptist Church located at 601 Palm Springs Drive, Altamonte Springs Fl 32701. 407-831-0950. She will be buried next to her husband, a veteran in Bushnell, Florida at Florida National Cemetery.
