Mullan, Anne R., 89, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away on April 20, 2010. She was born and raised in New York. Anne attended college and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She truly had a gift from God to help children and parents find “Forever Families” through Adoption. Anne specialized in sibling groups and hard to place children. There are countless families that have been created over the decades by her keen perception and selfless dedication. Anne is predeceased by her husband, Larry and her sister Willetta Roggy. Anne is survived by her daughter, Mariann, Son-in-law, Charley, and four grandchildren: Christopher, Alex, Chas and Janna, her sister, Dorothy VerEecke, and 10 nephews and their beautiful families.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice of Volusia / Flagler (www.hovf.org) to honor the gentle and loving care given by their dedicated staff to both Anne and Larry in their final days.
