Obituary
Annmarie O’Brien, 65, of Orlando, Florida, lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer on May 14th, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilfrid J. and Albertine O’Brien, her brothers Wilfrid Jr., Thomas, her Sister-in-Law Barbara and nephew Shaun.
She is survived by her beloved dog Chicklet and her family, brothers Rene and spouse Jon Baquizal, Timothy, Lawrence and spouse Tami, nieces and nephews Coley Sr., Brandon and spouse Sharon, Stacey, Aaron, Matthew, Daniel, Cody and his wife Rachel and Kyle and his wife Lindsay. Several great nieces and nephews, Coley Sr., Haley Schiff, Ethan, Landon, Liam, Noah, Emma, Bowie; and many special cousins.
Annmarie honorably served in the United States Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer where she received the National Defense Service Medal and the Humanitarian Service Medal along with many other honors. She had a long career with CareerSource Central Florida, where she was recognized several times for her work in Customer Service and her work with Veterans.
Annmarie was a woman of deep faith and had a tremendous love and commitment for her Emmaus Sisters. The family is especially grateful to these women for their love and support during this difficult time.
Annie was full of life and enjoyed everything Disney World, glamping, her daily walks (20,000 steps) with Chicklet, Church, her work team, her quiet time, and time shared with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 26th at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1501 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828. Burial will be immediately following at Queen of Angels Cemetery, 1901 Queen of Angels Dr, Winter Park, FL 32792.
