Obituary

Anthony “Tony” Renna, 74 of Fort Myers Beach Fl. Passed away on 02/19/2024, in Ft. Myers Fl, due to complications of Covid. He was the son of the late Angelo and M. Evelyn (Grubbs) Renna. Tony leaves behind loving wife of 29yrs, Sharon A. (Pollock) Renna. He is the Father of A. Steven (Kim Crimi) Renna, Jonathon Renna, and Heather (Joseph Abt) Pollock. Grandfather of Samantha Renna, Christian Renna, Elizabeth Proper-Tall, Brianna Renna, Jared Abt and the late Nicholas Renna. Great Grandfather of Cavonna and Kohen. Loving uncle to Sarah and Rachel Renna. Loving brother of Ida Quade, and the late Michael (Carol) Renna. Brother-in-Law of Michael (Sheri) Pollock Tx, and Eileen Monaco (Greg) NY, and more of a brother than brother-in-law of the late Bill Quade. Dear friend of Frank Greg and Frank Lacitra of Estero Fl,

Tony received is B.A. in Archeology and Cultural Anthropology from The University of New York at Buffalo. He participated in digs at Old Fort Niagara and many sites in New Mexico. He was also an avid fisherman. Tony fished from the Great Lakes to Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. His greatest love was his family. During his illness his cousins Jack Di Maggio and Carol Camarra were great sources of love and support.

He was the former husband of the late Diane (Heroy) Renna. He was also a friend of Bill W. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life held at a later date in Lockport, NY.

Arrangements were done by Baldwin Brother’s Cremation Service.
