Obituary

 Barbara Wise, 82, passed away peacefully under the care of Cornerstone Hospice.   She was born to Clayton and Louise Oates on June 12, 1936. Barbara is survived by her son, Brian (Jennifer) Russo and daughter Dawn Russo.  She was predeaceased by her Life Partner Dominick Russo.  Barbara was a native of Chicago who wintered in Florida up until 4 years ago when she became a permanent resident.   She enjoyed reading, playing cards, puzzles, walking and loved trees.  She was always straight forward with her answers to any questions and had a great sense of humor. No services are scheduled for her but the family is asking that donations be made in her name to Botanical Gardens of Chicago at 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glenco, IL 60022 or The Morton Arboretum 4100 IL-53, Lisle, IL 60532.

    Brian,

    I was saddened to hear that your mom passed away. I hope she passed peacefully and please take solace that she is not suffering anymore. She is back in the arms of your dad and they will now live on together forever!!!
