Benedict Paul Fusco, Jr., 60, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was born October 17, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York to Benedict and Natalie Fusco (nee Torregrossa).

He was a devout Brooklynite until 2016, when he moved to Cape Coral, Florida, to live with his sister Susan and her family. Benny loved spending the holidays and special occasions with his friends and family and volunteered his time to multiple organizations, including his efforts with 9/11 through Habitat for Humanity in New York City. Benny worked in his dad’s butcher shop in Brooklyn in his younger years and they shared a love of drag racing. They would spend their Sundays racing their Camaro, “The Butcher”. In 1978 Benny was entitled “Mr. Junior Olympia” for his bodybuilding. He worked out with Lou Ferrigno, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Frank Lane. He was a simple man in his older life who would call family daily “just to hear their voices,” especially his Aunt Dee Dee and Uncle John Viscardi.

Benny is survived by his three sisters; Susan Fusco-Swanson, wife of Eric. Debra Fusco-Zito, wife of Nicholas. Malissa Fusco-Cardone, wife of Robert; He was also the proud uncle of Nieces Frances Santiago, wife of Yaron, Theresa Siragusa, and Nephew Eric Swanson II.

His Father and Mother, Benedict & Natalie Fusco, as well as nephew Nicholas Siragusa IV preceded him in death.
