Obituary

Jean Clemons, born May 5, 1931 passed away March 3rd. Preceded in death by her daughter Linda and grandson Danny Dick.
Jean went to Central High School in Columbus OH graduating in 1949. She met her husband Bob at Central. They married in October 1949 and raised 4 children Steve, Mike (Yvonne), Rich (Julie), and Linda (Dan) Dick.
Jean was a stay at home mother while Bob worked and retired from the Columbus Fire Department. She enjoyed all the school activities her kids participated in and was very involved in the PTA. When she decided to go to work she ran the office operations for Gordon Keith Originals.
Jean and Bob decided to go into business on their own and opened Clem’s Dairy Station on the Hilltop.
In 1983 they retired to Bonita Springs, Florida making their residence in Limetree Park. They enjoyed working at Bonita Bay Country Club, their pontoon boat, and danced round and square all over South West Fla. In the summers they returned to their camper in Fireman’s Park at Buckeye Lake, OH where they have many fond memories.
Bob and Jean traveled to all 50 States and took many cruises.
Her four children gave her 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, all of whom will miss their Mama greatly.
Send condolences to Baldwin Funeral services.

She was a second mom after we met at Gordon Keiths in 1969. Her four loving children and husband Bob accepted me into their home .

far too many memories to describe. Steve, Mike and Richie will remember all of our times with Bobby around the player piano in the basement,
They always wanted ME to play the keyboard instead.
Love and sure will miss our tele calls.
So much more to say--------. I will miss you. JB.

My parents attended high school at Central with Jean and she was good friends with my mother, Wanita Busch Morgan, who died in 1967. I attended high school with Steve at West. I can recall times as a boy when Jean and my mom would visit. It's so good to read of the long, happy life she enjoyed. My sympathies to her family. The loss always hurts so much.

I am so saddened to hear of Jean's passing. She was a dear friend. I spent my winters at Limetree Park for 15 years and Jean and I had many fun times, eating, shopping and trying to behave. I especially enjoyed our Wednesday Nights at Rib City with our group of friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bob, Steve, all the children, all the family and all her friends. She was a special person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. RIP, my Dear Friend!!!!!
