Betty Jane Johnston, 90.
Born October 21, 1931 in Avenal, NJ passed away August 21, 2022 at the Masonic Home in St. Petersburg Florida.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and an advisor for the Rainbow Girls for many years.
She is survived by her children Robert Cackowski, Kim (Ed) Pass, Carolyn (Tony) Marlow, Kathleen (Billy) Ferris and Chrisann Ferris.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She spent many years as a bus driver for special needs children in New Jersey. She also enjoyed driving for sporting events and was a crossing guard for the town of Wayne NJ.
Better was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed card games, traveling and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Robert Johnston, and one son Russell Cackowski.
A service will be held at a later date.
