Obituary
Brenda Anna Weiss, 59, of Venice, Florida, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, February 12, 2024. Brenda was a dedicated wife and mother. Much of her career was spent in her role as Vice President of John Weiss Contracting. Brenda loved spending time with her family, going to Walt Disney World, tinkering, decorating, watching movies, sewing, photography, crafts, and landscaping. She also loved to celebrate. Every birthday, holiday, and milestone were cause for celebration.
Brenda’s smile lit up the room – and it was contagious. The joy and love she felt was palpable to anyone near her. She loved to laugh, and her laugh was one of the most beautiful sounds in the world.
Brenda married the love of her life on March 14, 1981. Shortly after they married, she had her 1st child but that was just the beginning. She and her husband John had 4 children and, eventually, 3 grandchildren. They all loved her beyond measure and are so grateful for all that she did and all that she was.
Brenda loved God. She was confirmed Catholic at Epiphany Cathedral Church and God was brought into most conversations. Brenda is most certainly with God now, turning the sorrow of parting into the joy of heaven.
A celebration of life will be held in honor of Brenda on a date & time yet to be decided.
