Obituary

Brian “Benny” Benjamin Benny passed away on November 26, 2018.  He was born on January 20, 1955 to Geraldine Grose Benjamin and the late Adrien Benjamin. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Donna Harrington Benjamin. His sons Brian Benjamin his wife Beth, Michael Benjamin his wife Deidra. His stepson Jeffrey Hall his wife Christina and step daughter Lorah Whittier. His grandchildren Brian, Max, Marlayna, Vivian, Makayla, and Savannah. His sister Gail Gullifer and 2 nephews.

Brian worked for many years in the parts department at Means Chevrolet in Ipswich, MA. Later in life, Benny ran his own used car lot, BK Auto, also in Ipswich, for many years. Benny was always willing to help out those low on funds with good cheap cars.

Benny greatly enjoyed spending time with his boys, Brian and Mike boating out on Ipswich Bay in his old Glastron the “Hangover”. He was a loyal supporter of his sons and loved spending time with them up at the family camp on the Songo River in Maine. The more the merrier and Benny liked a big bonfire. He also loved pets tremendously. His words of “what a good boy” will live on forever along with his favorite expression, “Sweet”!

Benny had a quick wit and loved to laugh. Nonsence was a specialty and he was the king of funny nicknames. Benny loved burning fuel whether it be in a Chevy Silverado or an old Impala. Benny loved his Chevy hats, Clam Box t-shirts. Benny had no love for Fords…Many Saturday nights were spent with his boys watching local Ipswich favorites mix it up at Star Speedway in Epping, NH. Whether it be boating, messing with old engines, even golf cart antics, Benny loved all things that burned fuel. He was a lot of fun and will be missed by many.

A celebration of his life will be held sometime next spring.
