Obituary

Carol Ann Gill, 66, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away on May 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born on December 12, 1949 in Lockport, NY to the late Floyd and Virginia (Mosure) Jansen. Carol loved to bake and cook, and she was a member of the Eagles 4401 and the American Legion Post 361. She is survived by her loving husband, Harry Gill of Daytona Beach, FL; her daughter, Katherine Kadwell of Savanah, GA; her 2 brothers, Joe Jansen and Peter Jansen; her 3 sisters, Diane (Raymond) Fischer, Kathy (Daniel) Fraser, and Mary (Raymond) Pierce, all of Lockport, NY; her 3 grandchildren, and her 2 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Eagles 4401 on Beville Road at a later date. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, Port Orange, FL.

    We lit multiple candles for Carol. Each candle represents our love for such a special lady.
    She made us feel so very welcome when we joined 4401. Both she and Harry became very dear friends, both inside and outside the Eagles club.
    She was one of the best bakers around. If you have ever had one of her homemade deep dish blueberry pies, you will know what we are talking about.
    Carol will be missed by all, especially us.

    I loved my nana very much. She was such an amazing person, so humble and gracious. Im thankful she got to be apart of mine, my husbands and our children's lives... Her great grandchildren adored her. We will all carry the happy memories we shared in our hearts. They where such precious times. We love you nana xoxo

    Carol was a beautiful lady and a true friend. I will miss her laughter and how she always made me smile and laugh. It was a blessing knowing Carol with all her creativity, warmth, sense of humor and love she gave to this world. Will never forget you Carol and Always in my heart! Prayers for Harry and Family.
