Obituary
Carol A. Miller died on November 7, 2019, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lorain, Ohio in 1933 to the late Nicholas Rozic and Katherine (Stojic) Rozic. She was a credit manager at Ohio Edison Co. for several years. Carol was a stay at home mom for most of her adult life. She was married to the love of her life Jack K. Miller for 52 years before he died in 2007. She and Jack called many places home after leaving Ohio, including Kansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, New Jersey, and Michigan. She called the Villages her favorite move in 2004 because of wonderful neighbors and Pickleball friends. She was proud of her Croatian heritage and enjoyed preparing ethnic meals. She taught her granddaughters how to make special dishes and bake holiday cookies to carry on these traditions. She is survived by four children Jack R. Miller (Julie) in Midland, MI, Mark L. Miller in Harbor Springs, MI, Cheryl A. Mitchell (James) in Charlotte, NC, and David A. Miller (Julie) Portland, OR. She is survived by 10 grandchildren- Jack, Emma, Nick, Joel, Katie, Alyssa, Jessica, Bella, Noah, and Evie. Also surviving is a sister Arlene K. Kokinda (James) Hilton Head, SC. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic church. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL so she can be forever next to her beloved husband, Jack.
