Carolyn Ann Conti was born in Brooklyn, NY on 8/9/28 and was married to her beloved husband Tom for 63 years. She was a proud mother to Joanne and husband Phil, and grandmother to Catherine, as well as an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews that she adored.  She was predeceased by her son John and sister Vera. She spent most of her adult life in Vernon, Connecticut and was actively involved at Ellington Ridge Country Club, serving on the Board of Governors and acting as Chairperson of several committees. She was a dedicated Teacher’s Aide for 25 years at Maple Street School. Carolyn was passionate about Tai Chi, talented with needle point, and an exemplary friend. She was the kindest, most loving soul, and everyone loved her. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the children’s charity of your choice to honor Carolyn’s love of children.

Mass will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 8:30 AM  at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church  followed by burial at St. Bernard’s Church Cemetery in Rockville, CT with a date to be announced.

Although my husband and I never had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn, we felt that we knew her through the wonderful stories that
my brother and sister in law (Ray & Loraine Sanchez) always shared.
She was a wonderful woman, kind and loving from all accounts. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Tom and to her family. May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus.
