Carolyn (Smith) Justice passed away in July 2018, in her home in Orlando, Florida, after a long illness. She was 77 years old.
Carolyn was born in Harlan County, Kentucky in 1941. After the death of her father in a coal mining accident in 1942, she moved to Middlesboro, Kentucky, where she graduated from high school in 1959. She also earned a certificate from Bowling Green (KY) Business College in 1960, and an Associate of Arts degree in accounting from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida in 1982. Her professional career included being the Practice Administrator for a medical group in Gainesville for many years.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles; and three sons, Mark (Tiffany) of Vero Beach, FL, Brett (Jennifer) of Westerville, OH, and Brian of Orlando. She is also survived by her brother, W. O. Smith, of Conway, Arkansas, as well as, six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, William O. Smith, and her mother Anita Smith of Middlesboro.
A memorial service is to be scheduled for family and friends in mid-September in Orlando.
