Obituary
Charles J. Louise
March 1938 – May 2023
I write this as my last good-bye,
But please don’t fret and please don’t cry.
Although I didn’t want to die,
I left this world a happy guy.
I ate with gusto, drank with zest.
My friends and family were the best!
As long as logging in was free,
I loved to use ChatGPT.
I rode my bike and walked my miles,
I lit the world up with my smiles.
I built a camp, improved the earth,
And always got my money’s worth.
My exercises kept me strong,
My charm ensured I did no wrong.
And when the daily work was done,
I always made some time for fun.
I’ll wrap this up; I’ve said enough,
Creating all these rhymes is tough!
I’m also loath to overpay,
For something you’ll just throw away.
My thoughts for you who now survive,
Please, everyone, go laugh and thrive.
And if you meet to spread good cheer,
Please toast me with a decent beer.

You are so lucky to have been the beneficiary of knowing Chuck well. John and I only knew him briefly. He was a special guy whom we wish we had had more time to get to know. We extend our condolences to each of you.
Sincerely,
