Obituary

Charles J. Louise

March 1938 – May 2023

I write this as my last good-bye,

But please don’t fret and please don’t cry.

Although I didn’t want to die,

I left this world a happy guy.

I ate with gusto, drank with zest.

My friends and family were the best!

As long as logging in was free,

I loved to use ChatGPT.

I rode my bike and walked my miles,

I lit the world up with my smiles.

I built a camp, improved the earth,

And always got my money’s worth.

My exercises kept me strong,

My charm ensured I did no wrong.

And when the daily work was done,

I always made some time for fun.

I’ll wrap this up; I’ve said enough,

Creating all these rhymes is tough!

I’m also loath to overpay,

For something you’ll just throw away.

My thoughts for you who now survive,

Please, everyone, go laugh and thrive.

And if you meet to spread good cheer,

Please toast me with a decent beer.

Survived by loving partner Betty Bosworth, twin sister Carol Louise and younger sister Janet Moro, children Charles J. Louise Jr., Chandra Louise, and Justin Louise (Ronna), grandchildren Adam, Daniel, Jack, and Thomas Louise, nephew Stephen Moro, niece Susan Campbell (Bill), other extended family and many friends. Chuck was a joy to watch while he prepped his home for Christmas. He had the true holiday spirit. He never seemed to sit still. Always active and open to assist anyone who needed help. Chuck is one of those people that leaves a "Large Hole" in the universe. It amazes me how much I miss seeing him out and about. It is as though there is a "Smudge" in the picture. Miss you Chuck

I will always remember Chuck & Betty graciously hosting the Royal Oak Christmas Caroling Group. And I will miss seeing Chuck working in his yard while wearing his suspenders, always waving as I drove by. We couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor. Mary & Pete

Chuck was the kind of guy you never forget. A great sense of humor. Always there when you needed him. And never looked his age.

    To Betty and Chuck's family,
You are so lucky to have been the beneficiary of knowing Chuck well. John and I only knew him briefly. He was a special guy whom we wish we had had more time to get to know. We extend our condolences to each of you.
    Sincerely,
    Lynne & John
    Haines
