Obituary
Cheryl Ann Henderson, 78, of Ft. Myers, Florida passed away on October 5, 2023. She was born on October 4, 1945, to the late Merle and Viola Klingensmith. Cheryl was raised in Scottdale, PA by her late grandmother, Bessie Troupe as well as uncles Henry & Gilbert Troupe and attended Scottdale high school.
Cheryl married her late husband, Thomas Henderson, Sr. and moved to Mount Pleasant, PA and resided there for 28 years. During the second chapter of her life, she relocated to Ft. Myers, Florida where she spent 31 years with her second husband, Gary Troupe; they enjoyed every minute of life together. She was a huge fan of Disney and Universal Studios; Cheryl and her husband Gary spent many days with family members at the parks. She mostly enjoyed spending time with Gary while walking around and browsing in shops and stores. Family members loved to vacation and spend time with Cheryl and enjoyed the deep love that she had for them.
Cheryl was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Professionally, she had a cleaning business with her husband and worked for St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Ft. Myers where she ultimately retired from.
Cheryl is survived by children, Thomas Henderson (the late Marilyn), Jr.; Timothy Henderson (Pamela); Tony Henderson (Barbara); Tiffany (Michael); Stepson Shaun (Kerri); grandchildren, Andrew, Kayla, Corey, Chris, Tristan, Tyler, Samantha, Makayla, Eddie and Mariah; great grandchildren, Scout, Emilia, Felix, and Jackson; siblings, Daniel Kingensmith, and Tracy.
She is preceded in death by husband, Gary Troupe; siblings, Merle, Jr., Shelva, John, Robert; as well as nephew, Mitchell McCloy.
Currently there are no scheduled services.
