I didn't get to spend alot of time with my cousin David, but when we were able to visit I always enjoyed his company. I remember him being fun and funny and I always thought he looked so much like Uncle Leonard. No more worries or cares for you now. Rest easy and we'll see you again soon. Prayers for his wife, children, grandchildren and siblings.

Over the years David and I had a few conversations together. Many of those hovered over Carl and his battles with his health, but every once in a while he would share some of his memories. One he told me about was a snow we had while we lived in East Point and it happened around spring time. He told me that when it snowed Daddy went and got an old washing machine front and wrote “Spring has sprung” on it and placed it in the front yard near the well housing. I guess it was the same snow that Daddy made a make-shift sled and David pulled us around the yard. That would have been March 11, 1960 and it snowed 4 inches.
Thanks for sharing David. Until a better time and place.

He was a kind father, who loved his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. His smile and laugh could light the world up, and never met a stranger in his life. He loved my mother so much and dedicated his life to having a life with her. I am blessed to say, he was one of the best men I have ever known.
