Christel Gertrude Doris Johnston (Hofmann)
Passed on to the Lord on June 29. 2020 in her home in Port Orange, FL
she was born April 25. 1944 to Christian and Karoline Hofmann (Mayer)
was preceded in death by her husband Arthur B. Johnston, her parents,
2 brothers Karl-Heinz, Richard, and 1 sister Gudrun Gutmann
Christel is survived by her sister Heide Niffen in Missouri,
Juergen and wife Silvia of Germany

Caroline Weinmann
Grandchildren,
Jaqueline and Maik, Christine and Simon, Michael and Daniela,
Lucy, Lisa and Fabio
Great Grandchildren,
Leif, Marlina, Lukas, Amy, Hannah, Fenja, Luca, Zoey, Oskar,
Tanja Gutmann, Niece
Christian Hofmann and family, Nephew all from Germany, and
Several Cousins.
She had retired from the Volusia County School System.
She will be creameted and buried at the VA Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL
at a later date, since her daughters will have to stay 14 days in quarantine
due to Covid 19.
She was a Member of the Martin Luther Gemeinde in Orlando, FL
Presiding is Pastor Wilfried Wassermann also a native of Germany,
he will have to be in Quarantine when he returns in October.
She had several hobbies, loved cooking, sewing and became a
Master Gardener in Deltona, FL, her home had several gorgeous Plants,
that she herself designed and detailed.
