Christopher Edward Woodward, 53, New Smyrna Beach passed away August 31, 2021 due to complications from Covid.
Woody was just one of those people that was larger than life. He was passionate about his family, his job, fishing and anything to do with the water. He loved his dogs, Ben and Sadie. He was just proud of his life. He worked nearly every single day and was truly the most giving and selfless person on this earth. He was there for any and everybody and never put himself first.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Dawn Woodward, his son and partner, Zachary Woodward, two daughters he was fiercely proud of, Caroline Sandmeier and her husband John Sandmeier, and Stephanie Woodward. His mother Maryann Woodard, three sisters, Mary Horsley and her husband Kevin Horsley, Ann Woodward and Patricia Woodward, his 4 nephews CJ Horsley, Anthony Horsley, Patrick Doherty and Ryan Doherty, several cousins and a ton of friends. His father Edward Charles Woodward predeceased him.
Rest well in God’s Arms, Woody, You live long in everyone’s heart. You were a true Blessing, to me and so many. I love you.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am, Friday September 24, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1003 Turnbull Street New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168
