Obituary

Concepcion M Francisco, known by her family and friends as “Chit or Connie,” age 81, passed away
Friday, March 15, 2024 at the comfort of her home in Port Orange, FL with her family by her
side.
Concepcion is survived by her children, son Arnold Francisco and his wife Margaret; her
daughter Bessie Lightcap and husband Bob; her daughter Arlene Flores; her daughter Amy
Francisco, her son Averill Francisco and youngest daughter Alma Spence and her husband Bill;
10 grandchildren, Gretchen Francisco, Ashley Flores, Alexa Francisco, Ryan Flores, Isabella
Francisco, Autumn Lightcap, Aidan Flores, Devon Spence, Cameron Spence and Jasmine
Spence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Avelino Francisco.
Concepcion was born on July 10, 1942 in Bicol, Philippines. She was a devoted wife, loving
mother and grandmother. She was deeply involved in her Eucharistic Ministry for many years.
She enjoyed traveling to different places around the world. Her family and friends will always
remember her as a caring, selfless, resilient and strong person. She had a fighting spirit, full of
laughter and a love for life. She will be tremendously missed.
A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday March 26, 2024 at Our Lady of Hope Church, followed by a
graveside service at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens. All are welcome to attend and celebrate
Concepcion’s life. Flowers and donations can be sent to Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home by
Monday, March 25, 2024 at 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, FL 32127
