Daniel Roy Snow, 85, of Port Orange, passed away peacefully on August 26 at his home with his wife by his side after a valiant struggle with cancer. Remembering dad
So many good memories come to mind.
I remember driving to Assateague Island to camp on the beach with the ponies. Much fun was had spending that time together. Or the time I wrecked my bicycle and he surprised me with a new one cause he knew I loved to ride. Building our pole barn for our horses was not only bonding and educational but it was empowering as a young girl being taught carpentry and teamwork. Too many to post.
I’m thankful that he was my dad because not only was I blessed his beautiful blue eyes, radiant smile and strong genes. I was taught good work ethics, that “can do” attitude, doing things right the first time, taking pride in my work and even putting things back where I found them.
I am incredibly thankful that Carole was with him through all the years they shared, especially in the end. Her love, strength and courage are inspiring.
She is a blessing to us all.
Although I will always miss him,
I know that he’s pain free and at peace with our Lord.
He will forever be with me in spirit.
