Obituary

Daniel Terry Burgess, 74, of Ocala passed away May 6, 2016.  Born in Newark, New York, he came to this area in 1974.  He owned Business Computer Consultants of Ocala since 1989.  Daniel was a member of the Ocala Elks Lodge, was President of Big Sun Bass Masters and enjoyed fishing.  He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Suzanne E. Burgess; children, Kim (Larry) Fox of Ocala and Chris (Lindie) Burgess of Ocala; brother, Ron Burgess of Honduras; grandchildren, Stephen (Jannet) Brown, Kevin (Brandy) Brown, Jessica Byers and Kyle Byers; great grandchildren, Jessica and Kaydence Brown and Christian, Declan and Scarlett Byers.  Per his wishes there will be no funeral services held.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers of Ocala 954 E.     Back when my son and I started fishing with the club we were able to finally weigh in 5 fish. Well...somehow my son couldn't count and weighed in 6 (not even enough weight to place) he just chuckled and asked later what kind of math they were teaching at college. It's memories like these where Dan will always be an inspiration. Our thoughts and Prayers are with y'all
