Obituary

Darlene C. Walker, wife of Russell G. Walker II, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, lost her battle with cancer May 26, 2021. She was born April 3, 1951 in Ticonderoga, New York to Norma and Leopaul West, of North Creek, New York.

Darlene was predeceased by her father, Leopaul West and younger sister, Dori Conlon. She is survived by her husband, Russell G. Walker II, her son, Brian Allen (Amy), her daughter, Sarina C. Szulc (Karl), her mother, Norma West (Dean), brothers, Paul D. West (Jackie) and Darryl H. West (Susie), sisters, Diane Schlinski (George), Denise Conlon, and Dawna Jackson (Jim), and her stepchildren & their families. She is also survived by her grandsons, Justin Wilkinson (Katie) and Gregory Wilkinson (Danielle Heister), numerous nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Mary Annis Wilde and Wanda Calderwood (Tim), and her friends of many years, Jack and Patty Dodge and Poppy Simmons.

Darlene enjoyed yardwork, being with her family and friends, and cocktail hour. She also truly loved her husband and her family.

As per her wishes, there will be no service at this time. A memorial will be held at a later date to be announced. The family would also like to give special thanks to those who assisted in her care.
