Obituary
Dr David H. Mobley, DVM
United States Military Veteran 2/7/1933 – 10/15/2016. Family and friends knew him as Doc. He grew up in Decatur, GA with two sisters, Ann & Wendy, and two brothers, Wilson & Robert. He is survived by his siblings, two children Dan & Katie, as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the US Army and severed in the 1950’s. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1965. He was a long time resident of New Smyrna Beach, FL. He worked in several local Veterinarian offices, prior to his many years of service at the Daytona Beach Kennel Club. He enjoyed walking on the beach finding drift wood and turning it into beautiful art pieces. He also enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales finding antique tools. He resided at Debary Manor for the past three years and the staff of the facility became a second family for him. They took great care of him. A celebration of life will be held at Debary Manor on 11/13 at 2:30
My prayers are with the family. David was very special to me as a little girl. Your grandmother Ruby was my dad's sister and I would stay with Dot and David some.
