We will truly miss David and as Shane would say, his gpop. David was a great man who always treated me as if i were his very own granddaughter! We’re so happy Shane got to spend the last 4 years knowing him but sad that Zachary never got the chance to meet him. We’ll miss him yelling and making funny noises at gmom while we’re on the phone with her and of course watching the tv on mute. Gmom took such great care of David and I know she’s going to miss him the most but we’ll be sure to take care of his little blondie :) we’ll miss you David! Thank you for everything you’ve done for Mark, our boys & myself!

I will miss Dave. He was a good man who cared deeply for the people he loved. More than I think some people realized. What he did for my mother during the last years of her life I will be forever grateful and be forever in awe. I really only spoke to him occasionally on the phone for the last few years, but I would enjoy those conversations and am grateful that I have them to remember. He was always the same Dave. Always honest and always spoke from his heart. He had a good heart. I loved him and will truly miss him. He is finally with his two youngest children and his brother in the perfection of God's presence.
