Obituary

Delsa Jean Yeager

Delsa has gone home to be with her beloved daughter Alicia (1979-2003), whom she greatly missed the last 20 years. She was also predeceased by her brother, Frank, and parents, Barbara and Argus Blevins.

Delsa was born on January 8, 1955. She instantly became and remained the favorite, quite the feat for being one of eleven children. She was an avid reader, Pepsi lover, and Elvis’ #1 fan. Her favorite candies were nonpareils, salt-water taffy, & chocolate-covered cherries. She loved watching wrestling, both in person and on TV. Delsa passed away at the young age of 68 on June 2, 2023, with her (self-proclaimed) “bad” sister Melissa and daughter Bobbie by her side.

Delsa was survived by siblings Melissa (Jim), Les (Betty), Dave, Lynn, Ronnie, Randy, Pat, and numerous other friends and family.

Also survived by her youngest daughter Bobbie (Rob) and step-granddaughter, Alissa. She leaves behind her adoring dog, Sissy, whom Melissa will continue to spoil rotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a time and place to be determined. If she did not like you, do not attend. She is finally at peace.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
