Obituary

Life Celebration for Diane Marie Mays who passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 will be 4:00 PM Sunday, November 5 at First United Methodist Church Port Orange.

Diane was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey

January 25, 1949. She was married to Robert Mays for 47years. She is survived by Robert, her husband, and her three children; Michael Mays, Matthew Mays and Amy Elsey Gragg. She is also survived by her brother David Naylor and 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

After marriage and the birth of her three children, Diane turned her role as homemaker into an art form and was dedicated to making sure that each child felt special and attended to.

Cooking and entertaining was her passion. Compassion for those less fortunate was another labor of love that she always excelled at. She was always willing to tackle difficult projects without hesitation.

Diane was beautiful inside and out. Her personality was larger than life and she lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the honor to know her.
