Obituary
Diane Joyce Widrig Burroughs Miller, 82,of Edgewater, FL passed away on December 30, 2020 with her family by her side. Diane was born December 26, 1938 in Buffalo, NY daughter of Gordon and Malva Maue Widrig. During Diane’s early years she was a stay at home mom raising her 5 children, who she loved dearly. After relocating to Silver Creek, NY Diane married the love of her life, Herbert E. Miller. Diane worked at a local nursing home as a Nurses Aid and she loved working with the elderly residents. After relocating to New Smyrna Beach , FL she continued to work as a school bus monitor for a local school system. Diane loved working and talking with the young students. She had many friends that she would spend time with; going to see movies, playing board games and cards. She enjoyed being around her dear friends and family and always had a quick story to share or she was a great listener. Diane loved to entertain her friends and was especially fond of her daughter in law Jessie. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Herbert Edwin Miller; sons, Randy Gene Burroughs and Robert Gordon Burroughs and grandchildren, Nicole Schulte and Gabriele Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Bethann Burlison Lyle; sons, Rodger Gregory Burroughs and Roy Edward Burroughs; stepsons, Eric Miller, Daniel Miller and stepdaughters, Debbie Ganung and Norah Adleman; 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. A life celebration will be held at a later date.
