Donald James Linskens, lover of Daytona Beach was raised in Oakdale, CT, traveled to England as a child and graduated from Montville High School in 1978.
Second youngest of four sons Donald loved to fish, mini bike, ski, play football and goof off outdoors as a young man with his brothers. At the age of 21 Donald fell in love with and wed Bonnie Jennings. An exceedingly proud father, he carried on his love for the outdoors with his children and grandchildren.
Biking through lush woods, camping, road trips to Niagara Falls, road trips across the coast, gardening and wood working were all his pastimes. He loved to live behind the lens of a camera, always wanting to capture every solitary moment. In his later years he became a beach body, Harley rider, NASCAR fanatic, pool league player and flea market stroller. He carried a very laid back attitude and enjoyed the simple things in life. He will live on in the hearts and memories of those who love him deeply and will never be forgotten.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children Jennifer Morales, Christopher Linskens, Monica Cruz, mother June Linskens, siblings Stephen Linskens, Mark Linskens and grandchildren Daniel, Nina, Elizabeth and Christina. He was preceded in death by his father David James Linskens, and brother David Thomas Linskens.
Life Celebration Donald will be 4:00 PM Sunday May 18 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL. Don was born in Waterbury CT and came to this area in 1995 from New London CT.

Rest in my peace my friend until we meet again.
