Obituary
Donald James Jodar, of Fort Myers, Florida and Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, passed peacefully away on January 1st, 2024, in the care of home hospice.
Born Saturday April 25th, 1931, in Chilton Wisconsin to Emil and Mabel (Boeing) Jodar. Donald was a US Navy veteran, serving from September 1950 to July 1954. He worked throughout his life as a professional engineer designing both commercial and residential structures. He was also active for many years in the Lions Club chapters in both Florida and Wisconsin, the Aircraft Owners & Pilot Association and was involved throughout his life in the churches he attended.
Donald is survived by his wife, Mildred Jodar (Lotze), his son James Jodar with his wife Sheryl, his daughter Jean Jodar with her husband Chance Chancellor, his granddaughter Savanna Riglioni with her husband Julius and his great grandchildren Penelope and Angelo.
Donald was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Warren Jodar and sister Shirley Powless.
Family services will be private.
