Obituary
Donna Concetta Soriente (64) passed suddenly on May 18 2023. Donna was born in Corona, Queens NY on 12/21/1958 to James Massella and Concetta “Connie” Tumbarello. Donna grew up in Woodhaven NY as the oldest sibling alongside Debbie Daniels (husband Roy) , Diane Ryan (husband William), and Jack Tumbarello (wife Marcy) who she all loved very much. She was smart, compassionate and had a very outgoing personality that allowed her to meet people and make friends wherever she went. Donna graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School. She met and fell in love with George Soriente and they married in 1981. They had a daughter Tiffany Soriente and son Richard Soriente who they raised in West Babylon NY alongside George’s parents Alfonso and Gretchen Soriente. Donna was very goal orientated and career driven, and as such worked many years in Human Resources and as a Career Recruiter. Donna and George moved to Venice Florida in 2017 and they have enjoyed many years amongst the community and friends in the beautiful Florida sun. On her free time she enjoyed artwork, beach yoga, reading, going to Church and staying in touch with family and friends. Donna also enjoyed traveling to the Jersey Shore to visit son Richard, Michelle (daughter in law) and her grandchildren Josephine and Benjamin Soriente. She was loved by all of her nieces and nephews who referred to her as “the good witch.” A Memorial Service and Celebration of life will occur for Donna at a future date. Please keep Donna and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
