Obituary

Dotty Shimmin, 94, of Ocala, FL, passed away July 8, 2015. She was born November 2, 1920 in Duluth, MN. Dotty moved to Ocala from Pembroke Pines, FL, in 2009. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Dotty is survived by her daughter, Jane Ann (Dave) Rubin, Ocala, FL, granddaughter, Lucinda (Michael) Diaz, and great grandson, James Russell Rubin. A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church for Dotty on July 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church.     We are so sorry about the loss of your mother and grandmother. We are unable to attend the memorial since we are leaving on 7/23 to go out of town. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you. We will surely miss her at Sunday church.
