Allan John Abram, D.D.S.
Dr. Allan J. Abram, 91, formerly of Seven Hills and Brecksville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center, New Smyrna Beach, Florida
Born in Cleveland, Ohio November 27, 1928 the son of John Abram and Grace Abram Ryglewicz, he graduated from Garfield Heights High School, class of 1945. Allan served in the U. S. Navy being honorably discharged in 1948, graduated from John Carroll University in 1953 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1957. Dr. Abram practiced dentistry for 40 years in Maple Heights, Ohio. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed flying and obtained his private pilot license. Allan was a former member of St John’s Lutheran Church Garfield Heights, Ohio and most recently Westminster By the Sea Presbyterian Church, Daytona Beach Shores Florida.
In addition to his wife of 23 years, Jane Wiggins Scott Abram, he is survived by his three children, Karen L Lathrop of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffrey A. Abram of Big Rapids, MI and Allan S. Abram of Loveland, Ohio. Two Stepchildren, Jill Grosch of Kane PA and Douglas Scott of Erie, PA; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
Preceding him in death are his mother Grace Ryglewicz and stepfather Stanley Ryglewicz; his first wife Carol Schleef Abram, and brothers Ronald Abram and Myron Ryglewicz.
Funeral arrangements are being planned for a future date.
