Edith V. Tumblin, of Palatka formerly of New Smyrna Beach died Saturday, November 24, 2012.  Edith was born July 21, 1925 in Kendrick, FL to the late Claudia and Joseph S. Walters.  As a native of Florida she enjoyed our beautiful beaches and sand.  She moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1969 from St. Augustine.  Edith was a member of the Fairgreen Club and the Church of Later Day Saints.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Tumblin.  Edith is survived by her son Roan Varnes and grandchildren.  Private services will be held.
