Teddy and I were next door neighbors in Dahlgren VA. This was 1965-68. We spent many days shooting off fireworks and made a zip line in our back yard which worked well until Butch Maples fell when the rope broke midflight. We were in Boy Scouts together until my father was transferred to Rota , Spain. After two years in Spain we returned to Dahlgren where I picked up with Teddy where had left off however by this time we had turned our interest into finding beer and forgot about the fireworks. We along with Rob Ryland and Richard Pruett drove to Orlando FLA a couple of times to visit our friend Jack Martin who had lived in Dahlgren in the 65-68 years. We had a lot of good times and eventually moved on to college- marriages- children and living our own lives. In 2015 (I believe) I had the opportunity to get to his house and hook back up with him. We had a great day reliving the past and when I found out about his death I was heart broken.Although we were 4 states away from each other we did often email each other and spoke on the phone. I miss him a lot. Gary and Kevin if you read this I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. He was a very special man and you were lucky to have him as your father as I am sure you know.

Deepest sympathies to all of his family and friends. Professor Culhan was my favorite teacher at Columbia College. His knowledge of law and his teaching style were unparalleled. God Bless you all. RIP Mr. Culhan. I will never forget you.

My sincerest sympathies and condolences. I was out of state and missed the service. Ted was an awesome guy and co-worker at the SAO. I especially liked when I would come back from court and he had lined up all these toy soldiers on my desk in military formations. Super smart gentleman and absolutely awesome lawyer. Awesome sense of humor. Will genuinely be missed.

He was a true gentleman with fairness at the root of every action. He cared. I saw his struggle but he was a trooper. I am deeply saddened to hear of his transition. He was one of the best.

I am terribly sorry to hear of "Teddy's" brain hemorrhage and passing. I grew up with him on the base at Dahlgren, where he was a favorite of many of us girls in the seventh and eighth grades. He was athletic, quiet, handsome, and kind. And, boy, did he know his history! I graduated with him from elementary and high school and although I thought of him often, never was in contact with him afterward. I know Mrs. Culhan or Judy may recall the group of girls vying for his attention by throwing rocks at his window or loudly playing outside at the Ryland's house next door on Hall Road. I know he was cherished and am sad of his loss, so young to us of the same age. My deepest sympathy.
