Obituary

Edward H. Newbould, 83, of Summerfield, Florida – With exceedingly great joy and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Edward H. Newbould from this imperfect life on earth to the eternal peace of being every moment in the very presence of Jesus Christ our Blessed Savior. He was proceeded to Heaven by his parents, C. Henry Newbould and Ethel L. (Strayer) Newbould, his sisters, Nancy Gemmil, Karen J. Kehr, and JoAnn Paules, and two sons, Brian E. Newbould and E. Steven Newbould. While awaiting to join him are his loving wife of 32 years, Donna L. Newbould, his daughters, Linda S. Haggerty, Cheryl L. Wildes (husband Jimmy), Diane L. Burns (husband Jim), and daughter-in law Shakira Newbould, sons Scott Newbould (wife Karen), Jamesdean Parker (wife Carrie), and Harry Parker, 15 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Edward was grateful for all his many friends and relatives too numerous to mention, but you know who you are, and you know you were loved! A Special thanks to Ramiro Murillo, who was more brother than friend to Edward (and our family) and who was always there when needed. Born in York, PA om August 21, 1938, Edward attended Dover High School prior to joining the United States Air Force in July 1956. He married his beloved Donna on July 22, 1989. He was an Engineer with multiple machine tool companies throughout his life, beginning with his fathers shop, Newbould Tool Co, Inc of York, PA, and eventually owned his own business. Please join us in celebrating Edward’s old life and his new one on June 24th, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 550 Pleasant Grove Rd, Inverness, FL 34452. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, with Service at 1:00, followed by Full Military Honors burial at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. We appreciate your prayers as we learn to navigate this life without him.
