Obituary

Edward Richard Heeder, 77, of Fort Myers, passed away July 31, 2019 at Hope Hospice House in Lehigh Acres, FL. Born December 18, 1941 in Highland Park, MI., he was the son of Ewald Heeder and Caroline June Richardson. Ed worked as an industrial mechanic for numerous years prior to retirement. A Celebration of Life luncheon is planned for Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at 12:30 pm., at Faith Assembly of God Church, 7101 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, FL., 33917. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the American Heart Association or Faith Assembly of God Church. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Fort Myers, assisted with arrangements.

    Deepest sympathy, Barb. Barb Parmelee and I worshipped with you most Sundays in the same pews. Ed always gave a hug and we had lunch following church. Will miss him. He was a good friend. He is now at peace with Christ. God comfort you. Prayers

    My brother could be hard nosed and gruff. But he turned into a sweetheart as he got older. As teenagers we were all responsible for doing the dishes. If I did them on his night, he'd give me a ride on his motorcycle LOL.
