Obituary
Elaine Yvonne (Gallant) Adams, 79, was finally reunited with the love of her life on April 26, 2023. Her beloved husband, Donald Adams, had passed away in 2014, and Elaine spent the last nine years talking about how much she missed him and the years they enjoyed together after retirement. She and Don have been laid to rest, together, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
Elaine lived a long, happy life and passed away peacefully at The Villages Regional Hospital, after succumbing to a chronic heart condition. She is survived by her sister Gloria Langshaw; and her step-daughter Michele Pizzitola. She was also a beloved sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt to those in her extended family. She was a great friend to many.
Elaine grew up in Central Falls, Rhode Island, where she and Don made a great life. They moved to the Villages over 20 years ago and made the most of their retirement years. Elaine enjoyed many hobbies and socializing. She enjoyed her membership in the Red Hat Society—and all that went with being a red-hatter—celebrating every stage of life.
