Funeral Mass for Ernest Christian Aberle, New Smyrna Beach, who died Monday, August 11, 2014 will be 11:00AM Friday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church 4000 South Atlantic Avenue New Smyrna Beach FL.
He was born in Englewood, NJ and graduated from Teaneck High School, Class of 1947. The Aberle family lived in Paramus, Ramsey and Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, before moving permanently to New Smyrna Beach, FL. Ernie was an avid sports fan, loved his New York Giants and the New York Mets." One of the kindest, sweetest and gentlest men ever. He was a loving husband to Helen for 63 years, father to Chris and Mary Beth Aberle, also Barbara Ann Finch. A wonderful grandfather to Brittany, Kate and Jack Finch, all of New Smyrna Beach. Ernie was a family man and had loving friends. He was truly blessed to have had all in his life. We will miss him deeply, but celebrate his life, for it was a wonderful one that will be cherished forever.
