Obituary
Ernie Clarke moved to Heaven May 29, 2019. He will forever be remembered in our hearts until we meet again. Ernie accomplished many things in life. Starting with working two jobs while attending high school, to owning and operating several businesses over the years. He was a hard worker and loved anything that involved cars and trucks. Ernie had a unique sense of humor and to be funny, he often called himself a “Poor O Peddler” and sometimes Mr. Peggy. Ernie truly loved his wife Peggy, they celebrated 50 years together August 2018. Also surviving are sons Ernie, Jr. of Jacksonville FL, and Tony Lynn of Nashville, TN, daughter Tracy Gail of Casselberry FL, and stepdaughter Connie Michelle, Knoxville TN, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family was his favorite subject and often reflected on memories from the past. Always showing pictures to total strangers wherever he went. Recently Ernie devoted himself to others, lending a helping hand, giving away his eye glasses to a man who had none. Helping a differently able senior lady with dietary needs and several charity organizations. Smart, kind, and caring best describes the man that my heart is forever broken for and will never be forgotten. We love you forever and always. Peg, Kids, Grand kids, and great grand kids and all who knew you.
