I am so sorry for your loss of an amazing wife, mom and grandmother. We hadn't been in touch the past few years, with everyday life being so busy. I'm so sorry, I had no idea you all were living with this unbelievable challenge.

Lisa, immediately when I looked at your mom's photos on your Facebook page, I could hear her laugh, and see the bright smile on her face. I will always remember her that way.....cheerful, sweet, and kind. She is in a better place, and thank God for all those beautiful memories she left for you and your family. Denise miles separated us over the past few years, but our friendship never ended at the Alaska boarders. Your laughter, your beautiful face your willingness to give the benefit of the doubt to so many are just a few of your past traits. Along with those long legs, grace beyond what most people have. Parking in your driveway while visiting Fairbanks or you parking in ours in Wasilla, having coffee while living in Eagle River. Visit to Valdez and Eagle River Camp Grounds. So many memories so much laughter such good times. I love you friend and so lucky to have shared so much with such a wonderful person. I will miss you, but know you are now in the Lord's hands and there will never be anymore suffering for you. You stayed braver than most and fought a battle. When I look up into the skies, I know I will have an angel looking over me. Thank you for all of the good memories, and thank you for being my friend. We will meet again; forever your friend. My sister,was the best and the bravest to face cancer head on and fight it the way she did with style class and dignity. It speaks for her life as a Mother, a Sister an aunt a cousin. She was so brave God took her home and made her an angel! Sisters 4 Ever. I will love you and miss you always!
