Obituary

Ferdinand La Salle Reinlieb was born January 3rd, 1933 to loving parents, Ferd and Hilda. He studied TV and Radio while attending Ithaca College. He then served as a DJ in the army in Korea. After completing his service, he found a passion in politics and worked for New York City for some years. While at a party in NYC, he met his future wife and set about wooing her. He wed Wendy Levitt, and had two children Andrew and James. Ferd and Wendy traveled and flew often with their sons all over the world. He was an avid pilot and flew privately and commercially. In his final years, Ferd loved to go to the YMCA to visit a group of friends, known as “The Coffee Clatch,” and enjoyed lively discussions while sharing coffee & donuts. On November 13th@ 2:12 am he passed away surrounded by loving friends and family. He was a man, who lived his life to fullest. He helped others whenever possible & will be greatly missed! He is survived by his children, Andrew, and wife Kristin, and James, and his husband Didi.
