Obituary

Francis Andrew Reising United States Military Veteran       Funeral Mass for Francis Andrew Reising, 80, New Smyrna Beach FL who died Friday, March 12, 2010 will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 19 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church New Smyrna Beach. The family will receive friends at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM. Committal will be at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens.   Francis was born in Brooklyn, NY. He served as a firefighter in New York City Engine Company 293 and many years in the Navy Reserve. He was a member of Retired Firefighters Association, Central Florida Division, Our Lady Star of the Sea Church New Smyrna Beach, and enjoyed gardening, travelling and his home and grandchildren.   He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 53 years Edna, children Charles (Ellen) of Orlando, FL, Francis T (Sandy) of Longwood, FL, Eileen DiLeo (Joseph) of Newburgh, NY, sister Patricia Murray and five grandchildren.       Memorials requested to Odyssey Hospice 149 S Ridgewood  #600 Daytona Beach FL 32114. 1:00 PM Friday, March 19 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church New Smyrna Beach. The family will receive friends at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL on Thursday from 3 to 5 PM. Committal will be at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens. Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church 4000 South Atlantic Avenue New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 (map/driving directions)  4pm to 6pm Thursday, March 18 at Baldwin Brothers Memorial Chapel 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL (map/driving directions)

    I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I am friends with Frank and Sandy and know that Mr. Reising was greatly loved by them both. While there is sadness and emptiness felt by the loss of a dear loved one, I hope you all have peace knowing that he will live on in your family and has gone to a joyous and restful place with the Lord.
